In the 2000s, country music increasingly returned to borrowing from pop music that was increasingly receiving massive airplay. The growth of television networks became more crucial in playing videos of country music songs, which was trend of releasing music. In this stage, country music artists were able to interact with their fans from across the world. Apart from selling record, this face saw increased use of the internet not only to market songs but also sell songs.
